 Iberian Ham

More than the half of the calls the Spanish airlines get are from clients asking with a nearly fading voice if: a) they can take a iberian ham with them or b) if iberian ham is known in the country of destiny. This pretty gives a clue about how imortant the ham is in the Spanish culture.

The Tapas

Maybe it is a bit cliche but sure you shed a tear or two remembering the Spanish tidbits. Eventually you are missing the tortilla, the mussels, the plate of air dried sausages and manchego cheese, the olives or the octopus. The Olive Oil

It is hard to find a decent olive oil, without spendig your months earnings, outside the delicatessen section. But you know probably you can have butter with your iberian ham sandwich…

The Roasted Sunflower Seeds

What kind of sunday afternoon does not include a sofa, a blanket and a bag of roasted sunflower seeds (called pipas)? And who would have told you that you’d miss something so small just as sunflower seeds (but roasted and salted please).

Colacao Hot Chocolate

Until now you thought that you grew out of having hot chocolate for breakfast. But since you’ve tried colacao you catch yourself winded up nostalgically thinking about the little lumps.
