Viñas Monastery Reserva Wine is a red wine made by the Monasterio de las Viñas Winery in San José de Aguarón, in the D.O. Cariñena. Awarded with 90 points in the Parker Guide
Monasterio de las Viñas Reserva is a blend of the varieties Garnacha (70%), Tempranillo (20%) and Cariñena (10%), from vineyards between 35 and 45 years old planted in a glass.
The harvest is done manually. The aging takes place separately: the Tempranillo and the Cariñana in French oak barrels and the Garnacha in American oak.
Choosing the best barrels, the final mixture is made, bottled and left to rest and bottled for at least 24 months.
